Limb ischemia

Some patients, especially smokers, may suffer from severe vasoconstriction of lower limb arteries resulting in severe pain in the limbs and severe ischemia.

This may lead to gengerene and amputation of the limb.

The treatment is usually done by surgical interference which increases blood flow to this limb but in many other cases, the patients may need minimal intervention by injection and radio-frequency to the nerves responsible for this problem. This is done by the most recent devices without surgical incisions or stitches. Then, the patient goes home after one hour of the treatment and returns to his usual life after two days.
